Portsmouth's leading contemporary art gallery, aspex invites you to explore innovative visual art with exhibitions, workshops and events at the inspiring Vulcan Building, Gunwharf Quays. Here you will find the work of artists from Portsmouth presented alongside internationally recognised names.

The main gallery shows five temporary exhibitions a year, which is complemented by the fast changing programme in the 'intro' project space adjacent to the cafe. The shop also showcases the best of contemporary crafts with monthly changing displays in its podium cases.
